PHOEBE SNOW HAS PASSED AWAY.....SHE WAS AN AMAZING SINGER/SONGWRITER THAT I HAD THE PLEASURE OF TOURING WITH FOR SEVERAL YEARS........THE WORLD HAS LOST A BEAUTIFUL SOUL BUT SHE IS NOW REUNITED WITH HER BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER VALERIE..... GOD BLESS THEM BOTH
HOLLISTER IS IN THE STUDIO WITH JIM PERRINI...FRANKIE C. AND DOUG KISTNER RECORDING FOR A NEW CD....STAY IN THE LOOP OTHER PROJECTS ARE IN THE WORKS WITH JAY/RICK/JAMES/DOUG AND MYSELF.

My gig with Joey Dee and The Starlighters was very cool..along with the TFO rhythm section..it was an honor to play with Eddie and Dave Brigatti (Rock and Roll Hall of Famers) to meet the other Young Rascals--the Shirellles and Tommy Mara of the Drifters---and to back up Mr Joey Dee himself...gigs are coming up at The Paper Mill Playhouse, Wildwood theatre and more in October.

One of my closest friends in the world, Gregg Hollister has started an incredible Project called "The Brothers in Arms Project". This charitable endeavor was created by Gregg and Marco Trezza to help fund college educations for the children of fallen Special Operations Warriors. The group is called the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). Gregg and his band, The Marco de Sade Band, have worked tirelessly over the last 12 months putting together a fabulous album/CD. They are donating 100% of all contributions for downloading the song "Brothers In Arms" to the Charity. We have Mark Knopfler's blessing for the year in The USA and Canada for our charity work with his song "Brothers In Arms"..the band will also have 11 songs of our own up on the site for downloaing...both projects are disconnected from each other.."Brothers" is a pay it forward to SOWF...Marco De Sade is independent of the charity work and folks can download songs individually or completely. THE COOLEST NEWS IS THAT MY OLDEST DAUGHTER ASHLEY HOLLISTER HAS MADE IT TO THE FINALS OF AMERICAN IDOL ( TOP 50 ) AND IS ON HER WAY TO LA THIS WEEKEND FOR THE FINAL FINALS... IF YOU WATCH IDOL SHE MAY BE ON THE NY AUDITIONS SEGMENT... NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS 50 OUT OF 100,000 KIDS AIN'T BAD..JUST ASK SIMON.... LETS ALL WISH HER LUCK.. GDH "PROUD DAD"
